Week 1 {February 14th-February 21st}

{February 14th}
Valentine's Day breakfast with Daddy at MiMi's Cafe
{February 15th}
Planned a friendship party with my small group friends. Posing like this for a picture is not out-of-character for me at all, I hope that 'character' doesn't embarrass the kids too bad when they're teenagers...maybe by then I will mature;)

{February 16th}
Ava snuck my camera into her fort made out of sheets and snapped about 10 pictures just like this of Lily.

{February 18th}

{February 19th}
Lily enjoying a left-over from Ava's party,
She would yell 'GO!' when she tossed it up and then chase after it.

{February 19th}
Getting some giggles out while playing a game on a rainy day.

{February 20th}
Stayed out a little late at Target spending Ava's birthday cash so we stopped for dinner at El Pollo Loco. Elijah paid for his own meal with a ziploc baggie full of coins and somehow convinced the lady working to slip 2 extra drumsticks in! Lily was so tired and was just looking at Avery and I across the table like this, you could tell she knew she looked cute...her personality is coming through more and more everyday...reminds me a lot of her brother!

{February 21st}
Ava turned 5 today! We celebrate as a family by going to build-a-bear and icecream. I was singing all day "Ava is the birthday bird, doo-dah doo-dah, she is now a 5 year old doo-dee-doo-dah-day!" Elijah finally asked me to please stop. Avery kept putting wigs on Lily and she would just sit stiff and not even try and pull them off, it was too funny!

{Starting out}

So my friend at Bible Study shared and AWESOME idea that she does to help 'scrapbook' her family's lives in a very quick and easy way. There are books out there called 'Project Life' Where you take one photo everyday and add a little caption to it and at the end of the year you have a great looking scrapbook. Well I LOVE this idea but I am not sure how disciplined I would be at printing out the pictures in time, so this 'virtual version' is an even better fit for me! I just enter my pictures on my blog here and then at the end of the year I can print it all out. I am so excited to capture our family in this way, the 'big' moments and even better yet the 'little' moments, the everyday moments that can easily get missed. I know there will be some days that I will not be able to choose just one photo...which makes this all the more brilliant for me, I can do as many pictures as I want! So I'll be here once a week loading my pictures in and writing a quick caption...no mess on my kitchen table, no cost for tons of supplies, no way I could think of a better way to do it!
