Week 23 {July 17th-23rd}

{Sunday: July 17th}

Her love of shoes has started young. Lily is DAILY getting into either my shoes, Ava’s shoes, Elijah’s shoes, or even Avery’s shoes at times…and every once in awhile she even likes to put on her own shoes

She runs in heels better than I do!

 

 

{Monday: July 18th}

I can’t remember if this is Lily’s first time using a water fountain or not, but either way I was so glad I had my camera on me to catch her hilarious expression anticipating the cold water reaching her face.

 

 

{Wednesday: July 20th}

The kids were very happy I had leftovers from craft night tonight, I couldn’t believe I had enough letters to make Ava’s whole name…Elijah didn’t want to use any letters, go figure!

 

{ Thursday: July 21st}

“Hiiiiiii Mommy.” (and wearing her sister’s shoes of course)

 

{Friday: July 22nd}

Date Night: Swimming at a health club (which explains the no make-up/ hair) followed by desserts and games at home…it was FUN and it’s funny how what is “FUN” changes over the course of life.

 

{Saturday: July 23rd}

Grandma watched the kids for us last night and she got them started on a puzzle-kick. What better thing to do on a Saturday morning than get out every puzzle you own and put it together to create a puzzle path?!

Week 22 {July 10th-16th}

{Monday: July 11th}

Met-up with Jessica and “Baby Brooke” at swim practice to enjoy the pool with the babies while Elijah and Ava practiced. Brooke LOVES the water and Lily LOVES Brooke so win-win!

{Tuesday: July12th}

Swim Championships tonight! Here is the swim coach getting the team spirit going with the “Bellair Barracuda” chant…”oooh-ahhh”

FIRST PLACE in his group for backstroke!!! He started the season with a backstroke time of 41.42 sec and ended with 28.97 sec, and his freestyle time went from 50.11 sec to29.91 sec!!! Elijah: we are so proud of all your hard work, your great attitude, and your ability to keep calm, REMARKABLE!

Elijah came home that night and lost a tooth, It was an extremely eventful day for him, and I just have to say that I love love love being the tooth fairy!

{Wednesday: July 13th}

Conner and Kendal came to stay the night, and while Elijah and Conner were out on the lake with Avery and his friend doing some night fishing, I had a house full of girls with Angela, Julia, Abby, Ava, and Kendal, girls rule!

{Thursday: July 14th}

We added a slip n’ slide to our water contraption and it was a crack-up watching the kids figure it out.

Lily was happy to be the kids cheerleader as they tried to make it all the way across.

eventually she wanted to join the fun, I guess the water was  a bit cold!

{Friday: July 15th}

Awards banquet for swim team, so cute and so fun since we took the Championship this year.

{Saturday: July 16th}

Had to run some things up to Chick-fil-a tonight (which is not uncommon) whenever we do this as soon as we pull in the parking lot Lily starts asking, “Ere Daaaaaeeeey?” (where’s Daddy) Ava assures her that he will be out soon and Elijah jumps up front to play a game with me, tonight it was hang-man so here he is explaining all HIS rules to me.

Week 21: July 3rd-9th

{Sunday: July 3rd}

Elijah was helping Ava figure out how to tie her shoes, Lily noticed and quickly went to grab her shoes for Elijah to put on her, He is becoming such a sweet big brother and his sisters love the attention.

 

 

{Monday: 4th of July!}

We spent the 4th of July with friends from church, the kids got to swim and watch fireworks and hold sparklers, it was a blast! Elijah was so happy to find out that his friend Cheyenne had a bearded dragon!

 

 

{Tuesday: July 5th}

Pedicures at Dolce with Amy and Heather, I enjoyed being able to talk and relax with 2 of my closest friends, & the pedicure was GREAT!

 

 

 

{Wednesday: July 6th}

We’ve watched Elijah playing his new Indiana Jones game on his nintendo ds for the past few days, and this morning he came out dressed like this ready to battle the bad guys, I love his imagination!

 

{Thursday: July 7th}

My little Ava makes a habit of being the first one up in the morning, so many times I wake up to discover a sweet picture or note left on my shelf next to my bed, the writing says “Ava (with a heart) I love you” Today’s picture was of Daddy and Elijah hunting, such a sweet way to start the morning, thank You Lord.

 

{Friday: July 8th}

Playing in the new water toy that mommy and daddy built! (mostly daddy)

 

 

{Saturday: July 9th}

At my friend Sonnie’s baby shower and of course Lily was couldn’t wait to get her hands on Baby Isaiah, and having her friend “baby Brooke” there was an added bonus. Lily kept trying to put Isaiah’s pacifier and couldn’t help sticking her tongue out in the process!

Week 20 {June 26th- July 2nd}

{Sunday: June 26th}

Home from church making lunch while Avery hangs out with the kids...looks like they found something?

 Another lizard! Elijah gets busy to make a habitat for his new pet, out of his big pickle jar of course.

 {Monday: June 27th}

These are some cute toes that I don't mind painting at all...

Waiting for the polish to dry was a challenge.

As soon I was done with Lily I had another customer, this girl was much more patient waiting for the polish to dry so I could get fancy with her toes. Ava thought it looked like little eyeballs on her toes.

{Tuesday: June 28th}

Small group friends doing a little shopping after dinner.

I couldn't wait to get home and see Elijah who had won his first blue ribbon at his swim meet!

{Wednesday: June 29th}

Ava loves to watch Elijah with his lizards and geckos but is always too scared to hold them. Today Elijah found a baby one that he knew Ava would like as her pet, and he was right. Such a nice big bro!

{Thursday: June 30th}

We have been at VBS all week and I got to help out in Elijah's class. I find it interesting that his favorite thing to do when there is free time is to 'verse' people at connect four.

{Friday: July 1st}

Last day of VBS so I had to get some good pictures. Although I was not in Ava's class I did get to see her everyday in 'big church' for worship. The first few days she was pretty shy because she didn't know the moves, but after she got the hang of it she was totally into it. Her favorite part of the day was the funny skits that were put on by some of the youth, she would say "I can't wait to see what that weird guy is gonna do today!"

 The boys! Our class was 10 girls and 4 boys. I loved getting to know all these kids and their unique personalities.

Snack time was one of my favorite parts of the day...not just because of the food, but the creativity! I loved seeing the way the 'snack ladies' tied each day's snack in with the Bible verse and truth that the kids were learning, so cool.

Obstacle Course! Elijah's favorite time of of the day, they got to ride bikes through the course, go through tunnels, balance on stuff, play with a ginormous parachute....and all indoors in the a/c, FUN!
