Week 10 {April 17th-23rd}

{Monday: April 18th}

Enjoying a good read at Grandma's house.

Grandma is the best at reading stories because she does lots of funny voices.

{Tuesday: April 25th}

More fun with Grandma! We couldn't make it to Bible study today so we took the girls to the park. The slides were definitely the hit of the playground and Ava was so sweet helping her sister so carefully to make sure she didn't fall or get hurt.

{Wednesday: April 27th}

We discovered this on the internet today, it's a live broadcast from an Eagles nest. The kids were totally zoned-in and loved watching the Eagles feed there babies a fish.

and so guess what they wanted to play after lunch?

They each wanted their own nest, and yes that is a fish Ava is feeding to her chick.

{Thursday: April 28th}

Been spending a lot of time reading about the last days of Jesus' life with the kids leading up to Easter and so today we read about when Jesus washed His disciple's feet and the kids were SO excited to act like Jesus! They both wanted to wash mine so I let them each wash one and their little hands felt so sweet. When it was Ava's turn to wash Elijah's feet he said:

"Oh Ava make sure you do a good job cause my feet stink! Look at this stuff in between my toes!"

Ava didn't flinched at all and she did get in between his toes...which REALLY tickled.

They both wanted to wear an apron like Jesus wore in the story and that water was FILTHY when we were done, I am glad I went first! But the dirty water provided a great opportunity to talk about all the 'yuck' that Jesus washed off of us at the cross.

{Friday : April 29th}

Our friends the Ramon Family came over tonight to watch the kids so Avery and I could go out on a date. Elijah and Ava loved having Patrick and 'Baby Anthony' over , which I heard all about the next day, and Avery and I loved getting to have some time away. We also loved having some time with our friends after we came back home while the kids were all passed out...except for baby Anthony who stayed up with us until after 1am and was as happy as could be.

Someday I am going to miss having this little baby at my feet all the time wanting to be around me.

Week 9 {April 10th-16th}

Cousin Makayla's 4th birthday party,

It was all about ponies and soooo cute!

Aunt Stacy was still in town so we got to see her along

with the rest of the family, Makayla was so cute opening her gifts.

Always fun to get to see Cousin Cloee!

Lily was content to snuggle with Grandma for most of the party.

{Monday: April 11th}

Hungry Howie night again and Elijah LOVES to be a big kid and go in to pay for the pizza... partly because he gets to keep the change, NOT the dollars just the change :)

 {Tuesday: April 12th}

This is the look of someone who knows they probably shouldn't have taken their poopy diaper off during their nap...uh huh.

{Wednesday: April 13th}

Went up to surprize my boy at school today and brought the girls along this time, Ava is getting excited to think that she gets to come here for kindergarten next year...I'm a little less excited, they grow up so fast!

Grabbed some stuff I had around the house for an Easter craft today, gonna spend a lot of time this week as a family doing fun activities/talking/reading stories to lead up to Easter...such a sweet time!

Week 8 {April 3rd-9th}

{Sunday: April 3rd}

A beautiful (and WINDY) day at South Mountian for Isaiah's baby shower today, It was great to be able to love on our friend who has blessed us in so many ways!

{Monday: April 4th}

This is what happens when I take 5 minutes too long checking my email!

...and to think I bought this sand table for Lily! Ha!

{Tuesday: April 5th}

Went to cousin Nikki's house tonight to visit with Aunt Stacy who is in town from Montana...getting the women in the family together for dinner (no kids) was fun and FULL of laughs.

{Wednesday: April 6th}

Elijah taking care of our 'Plant Pals' that we made a few weeks ago, one for each member of our family. The kids loved watching their grass grow and checking out the cool root system beneath the surface.

{Thursday: April 7th}

Had an AMAZING time worshiping God at the Chris Tomlin/Louie Giglio concert at CCV tonight. It was great to catching up with my small group friends that I haven't seen in awhile, we hope to go every year!

{Friday: April 8th}

Having some breakfast before heading off to Ava's dance class and caught Ava massaging her daddy's shoulders.

She loves that he comes to watch her dance and tumble, and he is always impressed with her skills.

{Saturday: April 9th}

hmmmm...something found Ava's prize strawberry???

Mystery solved! Ava was NOT happy but couldn't stay mad at her little sis for long. Now how do we keep her out of the strawberry plants?

The Saturday night gang at Hobby Lobby, Amy and I only made them go to one store before getting to eat and play at Chick-fil-a, I think that's a pretty sweet deal.

Week 7 {March 27th-April 2nd}

{ Sunday: March 27th}

Went to visit Heather at the hospital and meet baby Isaiah!

So tiny and sweet!

had to head up to Chick-fil-a that night to put up the Easter decorations and Elijah brought his fish to have Daddy cook...YUM!

{Monday: March 28th}

These two love each other soooo much,

it's so fun to watch my girls getting to experience the whole 'sister thing'.

{Tuesday: March 29th}

Elijah stayed home sick from school today so the girls and I

couldn't make it to Bible study with Grandma, so she came over for a visit.

 It was the first time the kids had seen her since her vacation to Oregon last week

so they were very excited and fighting for her attention.

Later that day Elijah was calling to me from the room saying

 "Lily is praying for me!" and this was how I found her, she's got it down!

 {Wednesday: March 30th}

Our little man getting off the school bus, I love seeing him come home!

{Thursday: March 31st}

Ava loves coming with me to the storage unit, riding the carts,

 holding my keys, and of course pushing the elevator buttons.

{Friday: April 1st}

Elijah was so excited and goofy about April Fool's Day this year that Avery and I could not resist getting him with the old "rubberband on the water sprayer" trick, We told him to go rinse his cup and BAM! a face (and kitchen floor) full of water.

 He LOVED it and was begging us to do it to Ava...we declined.

This was a good laugh!

Week 6 {March 20th-March 26th}

Today was our bulid-a-bear friends' birthdays, so we had to have a party of course!

This was Elijah's list of things to do at the party.

My personal favorites are 'Don't be winy' and 'Get a dog' hahaha!

Look who's feeding herself! I love this because it buys me a little extra time, not so crazy about the amount of food that ends up in her lap and in her hair... also not crazy about how fast my baby is growing-up!

Look who finally caught his first fish!

It was a BEAUTY!

Elijah was so proud and even convinced Ava to touch it.

Had Amy and the kids over to play while she and I worked on Heather's baby shower decorations...

only to receive a text from Heather saying that baby Isaiah was on his way 8 weeks early!

We tried to stay focused but were eagerly awaiting news from our friend,

He arrived that evening weighing 4lbs 11oz and doing great!
