{ Sunday } August 14th
As if we didn’t have enough fun at the hotel, I was able to celebrate Lily’s birthday with friends the following Sunday. We had a Baby Friends Birthday Brunch for Ladies and Babies only. It was great and I loved having a house full of all these sweet people, big and small.
The scene was set, the food was ready, and the babies started to arrive. Lily couldn’t wait to get her hands on Isaiah.
All the duckies in a row.
“Sheeeeee” (cheese)
Time to eat!
What I don’t have pictures of (and I’m kinda glad cause I was crying and emotional) were the framed glass plaques I made for each of my mom friends with a quote about something I admired/loved about their mothering and relationships with their babies…it was totally awesome to tell them how I felt about them (even if I did cry and get choked-up and look less than ‘party-like’) that’s what is so awesome about women only parties. We put the babe’s foot prints on each one, which was also fun.
Opening gifts was entertaining with all the babies playing around.
Lily and Sadie were way to color coordinated with the party décor for us to pass up on a photo of them together!
Time for the Happy Birthday Song…
It was a special celebration for Lily Grace and I was touched to be surrounded by great people willing to share in the joy of my girl turning 2, this girl melts my heart in so many ways I feel like it’s my birthday and she is the greatest gift imaginable.
It was fun (and a bit challenging) getting her to pose with her presents for a thank you card, but I managed to get this shot before she started demolishing my lovely “2” made of toys.
